Memorandum of Understanding: Chinese Taipei and Philippine Monitoring Committees PDF Print E-mail

The APEC Architect Monitoring Committes of Chinese Taipei and the Philippines signed on April 25, 2009 a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a mechanism to eventually allow the provision of barrier-free architectural services between the architectural professionals of their economies, towards the fulfilment of the spirit, concept and objectives of the APEC Architect Project.

The Chinese Taipei Monitoring Committee that traveled to the Philippines for the signing of the Memorandum was composed of Chen Yin-Ho (Chair), and members Chou Kuang-Chou, Lien Fu-Hsin and Chen Ching-Li. Also with the delegation was Amanda Chou, Executive Secretary.

The signatories from the Philippine Monitoring Committee were: Prosperidad Luis (Chair) and Medeliano Roldan (UAP National President), Armando Alli (Chair of the PRC Board of Architecture), Yolanda Reyes (Chair of CHED Task Force on Architectural Education), and Edric Marco Florentino (Member of the CHED Task Force on Architectural Education).

The signing was witnessed by Donald Lee (Director General of the Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chinese Taipei), Fernando Mora Mora (Secretary General 2007-2008) and APEC Architects of the Philippines.
